America Was Never For Me : A Symposium and Discussion with Men of Color in the Victories Community

March 27, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Victories is hosting its first symposium focusing exclusively on the experiences of men of color.

Join us with a panel of black and brown men as they share their lived experiences of being a Person Of Color in America. The intent is to elevate discussion of race, equity and diversity in the Victories Community. We invite men who identify as White/Caucasian to hold space for men of color in this community to witness as they share intimate life experiences as men of color in their individual lives and within the Victories community.

Upon completion of the panel discussion, we will have breakout sessions facilitated by Equity Committee members and panelists. Our aim is to have authentic, deep conversations during these breakouts with understanding, connection and empathy for men of color.

Why Attend? You are a Victories alum and are:

  • Examining the issues of race and diversity in your own life, including implicit and unconscious bias.
  • Wanting to explore these sensitive issues in the safe container of Victories men.
  • Curious about investigating the contributions of your own actions, thoughts and words.
