The sense of wholeness we all seek as individuals takes place best within a loving and conscious relationship. The Couples Connecting weekend will help couples observe and practice specific skills and processes to help them connect more honestly and lovingly with each other. Participants will learn about the natural “life cycle” of a relationship and how to nurture and maintain healthy intimacy within the ebb and flow of their relationship. Couples will also be guided in how to keep the “sacred fire” of their connection flourishing after they leave the workshop (and even have some fun along the way!).

Helping men realize and appreciate their natural ability to be sensitive participants in the primary relationships of their lives has always been a fundamental purpose of the Victories program. This weekend workshop will provide essential understanding of relationship dynamics. It will also demonstrate and give time to practice foundational and crucial skills for engendering and maintaining a truly nourishing and loving relationship.

The workshop experience will contain some lecture, educational exercises, process demonstration, time for couples to practice skills on their own, group discussion, and time for Q & A. Leo and Peggy Dhont, the workshop leaders, alongside other Victories leaders and staff will provide supervision and guidance during private work sessions.
