Shame, the sense of not being good enough, is the number one killer of joy, connection, and self-worth. Shame breeds anxiety and fear of failure. It pushes us to live “small,” hide our imperfections, and decrease our vulnerability. It asks us to please, perform, prove, pretend, and perfect in order to deserve being loved. Shame is present in everyone. Our culture breeds shame in multiple ways, some blatant, some sneakily stealthy.

This workshop will introduce you to the concepts and give you skills and resources to rise above it. Participants will be asked to examine shame in their lives and share their stories. To do this work, confidentiality is essential.

Because shame is complex and because the healing process requires first some new understanding and then a chance to let others really see you, this is truly a chance to “dare greatly” and grow!

Every man or woman, every parent, every teacher, therapist, leader, coach, and mentor needs to see shame so that we don’t pass it on.

Cost
$75. Scholarships and payment plans are available. This workshop is only open to men, but we hope to open it to women in the future.
