THE SHADOW WEEKEND
A "Next Step" For BreakThrough & Wisdom Years Graduates
The next Shadow Weekend is estimated to take place in the Spring of 2013.
During
this powerful advanced retreat, graduates of the BreakThrough and
Wisdom Years weekends continue their personal journey towards wholeness
by taking this "next step."
Supported by weekend leaders and
each other, they engage in the challenging work of uncovering and
embracing their "shadows," the parts of their inner being that they
have worked to conceal from themselves and the world - those that cause
them shame and erode their sense of self-worth. By looking deep within
and bringing the "shadow" into the light of day, they begin to
recognize its silent influence on their thoughts, feelings, and actions.
As
a result, they reveal and rediscover the potentials buried within...
the golden qualities that have been held in check by the "shadow"...
the strengths of character and individual talents that affirm their
warmth and their worth.
When the Shadow+Info Weekend
concludes, each man leaves with a deeper understanding of and
connection to his dark side, a greater ownership of his gold, and a
fuller appreciation of himself. By doing his "shadow work" each moves
further to restore his original wholeness.
